and abroad as a soloist or as member of important bands and has played, among others, with Mike Mainieri, Arild Andersen, David Murray, Steve Lacy, Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Peter Erskine, Dave Liebman, Palle Danielsson, Bob Sheppard, John Patitucci, Michael Moore, Kenny Wheeler, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu.

In 2005, 2007, 2010 and 2014 he toured Japan exhibiting in primary concert halls. In 2002 he’s on tour twice in Brazil playing piano solo, in 2010 and 2011 he is in Norway playing and recording with the quintet of Bendik Hofseth and Mike Mainieri. In 2014 he also toured Mexico in piano solo and China, Hong Kong and Macao with his trio.

He has made several records for important Italian and international labels. In 2015 On a sunny day, 2014 Seals both published with VVJ and “best jazz instrumental cd of the year” for the Japanese mag Jazz Critique. More specifically he plays together with prominent Italian jazz musicians in Umbria Jazz Compilation 2011 published by Blue Note; in 2010 September in Japan, piano solo live in Japan; in 2009 Unstandards editions Via Veneto Jazz; in 2008 g plays G in piano solo dedicated to Gershwin’s Songbook. For the Japanese label Blue Gleam he records in 2010 Imaginerie, in 2007 Cubicq and in 2005 All Alone. For the Italian Double Stroke he records in 2006 Angoli confusi, and again for Via Veneto Jazz in 2003 Ringin’ Bells and in 1999 Europhilia; in 1997 he records in Los Angeles the cd Jason Salad! for RCA Victor, in 1996 Saxo produced by France Citroen, in 1995 Traction Avant again for Via Veneto Jazz.
