This was my very first cd recording and with such a nice company, have you seen the names involved? One of the best rhythm section of the whole world with maybe the best “tonmeister”, such a big responsibility!
Believe me or not but since when I put my hands on this beautiful Steinway B I suddenly felt “at home” despite my clear inexperience at that time. This album collects all the compositions that I considered much worth of attention from 0 to then so I must say it definitely represents me in that period, I am very proud of it.

He participated in exhibitions and festivals throughout Italy and abroad, giving concerts and making recordings in Switzerland, France, Austria, U.K., Norway, United States, Brazil, Japan.
Has recorded for the following labels: RCA Victor, EMI, BLUENOTE, Blue Gleam, Double Stroke, VVJ.
His album "Cubicq" was voted as one of the best of 2007 by the Japanese magazine Swing Journal critics poll.
His most important collaborations include: David Murray, Steve Lacy, Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Peter Erskine, Dave Liebman, Palle Danielsson, Bob Sheppard, John Patitucci, Michael Moore, Kenny Wheeler, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu.
Currently a steady member of the Bendik Hofseth quintet along with Mike Mainieri, Arild Andersen, Paolo Vinaccia.
He is professor of jazz piano at the G. Verdi Institute of Music in Prato and has held seminars and workshops in many parts of the world.
